TOUR 3: Historic Stations & Alpine Ranges Tour
The Historic Stations and alpine Ranges Tour is a scenic flight with views of historic Molesworth and St James Stations, two of New Zealand's largest high country stations. Enjoy spectacular views of the Upper Clarence and Waiau Valley systems, the Fairie Queen and the South Island's Southern Alp ranges. Soar over Lakes Guyon and Tennyson, and the pristine native forest and tussock lands.
The area is full of grazing cattle and horses. Look out for other exciting wildlife, such as red deer, chamois, wild pigs, Canada geese, chukka and ducks.
The tour includes a ten minute landing on a mountain ridge on St James Station to admire the view and for a photo opportunity. The 10 minute landing is subject to weather conditions at the time
